Wallows: The American Indie Breakthrough

At last we have a truly talented modern group forged of musicians that seem to have knowledge far beyond their years, thus creating music that is outstanding. Now, that is no disrespect to other indie American bands out there like Foster the people, but there;s just something about this band that is so enticing. The rising band is made up of three band members including the famous Dylan Minnette who reached stardom through his acting in the hit Netflix series '13 reasons why'. Even with this worldwide success, not much attention has been drawn to his musical scene, however their debut album 'Nothing Happens' seems to have picked up a decent amount of success. Though it should be much more popular than it is. With brilliant vocals from Dylan Minnette and Braeden Lemasters that fill the tracks with energy, there is no band around that are quite like them. The originality from song to song is just pure class with melodies that are so unlike anything you'll have heard in a while. They're just incredible. And with the group ranging from 22-23 years old it is for sure that they'll be around for quite some time. This can only be a good thing when they are releasing music that is as catchy and original as 'Nothing Happens'. I just hope they pursue music just as much as they do film.
