You may not have heard of the name before, but I'm sure you have now. As the 22 year old released his debut album 'BREACH', he was thrown straight into the spotlight with instant success from the UK especially. The album was only released in late 2018 and has been placed straight into the chart rankings against big contenders within the industry. However, no one could see the incredible success that his song 'Someone you loved' would become as it rose immediately through the UK charts into the 1st place in early 2019. Since it's entry into the top spot, 'Some you loved' has consistently sat up with the crown for 5 full weeks and doesn't look like it's budging anytime soon. Although the 2 major songs of 'Someone you loved' and 'Grace', the singers other songs on the album should not be overlooked at all. His consistently powerful and bold vocals create a deep emotive piece of storytelling where as the audience you're able to feel the joys and sorrows that Lewis writes about. And the lyrics, mind-blowing. They can not be compared to anyone in the UK charts right now but only time will tell whether the big names like Ed Sheeran are able to give a little bit of healthy competition to the youngster. With what can only be described as raw talent, it is exciting to see where the songwriter from Bathgate, Scotland can go, and with this sudden shift of attention, I can assure you he can only be going up.
