In this new internet based world, it is much easier to produce and distribute your music to hundreds of thousands of people all within a few clicks of a mouse. With this recent development literally anyone is able to create a beat, sing down a mic and put it out there for the world to listen to. And whilst this is amazing that young talent are able to build a name for themselves from the comfort of their bedroom, it is equally now just as difficult to fight for the spot of becoming the 'new thing'. From recent success through the free service called SoundCloud, Post Malone is the current icon that can prove to the small musicians out there that with the correct work ethic and a talent to make original music that is fresh, anyone can make it. In an interview with 'Noisey Raps' he explained, "i think it's such a dope medium for new artists". As the spotlight was set up over SoundCloud it became apparent that it was the 'hot' thing to set up an account and try to make it, however this would be difficult for people with raw talent to shout above the ever-growing crowd for their one opportunity.

Now, the label 'Young Forever Inc' may have just found that one person. From Columbus, Ohio the 16 year old female singer/songwriter has brought out her debut album 'Let's commit a robbery' which has seen some attention from big names, and for good reasons. With catchy af lyrics that ring through your head for days afterwards and melodies that will make you hum wishing you could listen to it one more time, it is clear that there might well have been a diamond found in the rough. So, it seems that the gritty young artist may just have it all to become a big name for the future. Only time will tell, but remember it was here that you first heard the name 'KIITA'...
